The company started in 1982 with one product, the ever popular SUPER CHEXX bubble hockey game that at the time could be seen in every corner tavern, college campus, and even foreign countries where hockey was not even a popular sport. To this day ICE continues to produce and sell SUPER CHEXX all over the world. It has even become a popular home entertainment concept for those players that just can't get enough of the game at their local arcade. In addition to the Super Chexx still sold for commercial use, ICE sells a few hundred every year for people's home game rooms and basements.
Then in the mid to late 1980's ICE began producing more sports games and came out with their very popular basketball games, FULL COURT FEVER and STREET FEVER, the only basketball game on the market with a fully rotating hoop. This patented product offers the players a chance to shoot from every angle as the hoop moves not only forward and backwards, but sideways as well. ICE's basketball games became the staple game that every arcade needed.
Continuing along the same lines ICE introduced their "kiddie" version basketball game called MINI-DUNXX which to this day is the most popular kid's basketball game for ages 5-12.
It was also in the late 1980's that ICE entered the very popular market of redemption games which kids and adults alike can play to win tickets which they redeem for prizes of all kinds. ICE launched the arcade version of HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPO another product that already enjoyed universal appeal on the consumer level.
The 1990's have brought a great deal of success, change and growth to ICE especially by way of their most popular title game CYCLONE. The 3 player redemption game that is undoubtedly the most popular, highest earning redemption game in the world quickly became the redemption game by which all other redemption games were measured. Over 5,000 units have been sold worldwide. ICE has received many awards Cyclone, such as the 1995 PLAYMETER Magazine award of excellence voted as "BEST REDEMPTION GAME OF THE YEAR" and also the 1995 AAMA DIAMOND ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for over $10 million in sales in one year for a single redemption game. The company has also received awards in 1996,1997,1998 from the AMOA for the most played fast action redemption game and the most played skill redemption game.
The 90's also brought about the development of ICEBALL which quickly became the new standard in alley rollers. ICEBALL was designed for ease of operation with user friendly features in mind and the added bright eye appealing colors have made ICEBALL the number one selling alley on the market today.
The company quickly began growing into the leading manufacturer of redemption games in the world releasing such titles as the internationally popular FRANTIC FRED, BOZO'S GRAND PRIZE, MOUSE ATTACK, COBRA HUNT, HUMPTY DUMPTY and TICKET'S N' TUNES just to name a few.
The success of the wide variety of redemption games has allowed ICE to grow vertically and horizontally. In doing so ICE acquired a key supplier, DIMAR Manufacturing, a state of the art metal fabrication company. ICE also has it's own internal wood shop and electronics department which does all of it's own wire harnesssing, pc board stuffing, etc.
This expansion has given ICE the ability to broaden it's manufacturing capabilities and product line to include not only redemption and sports games, but cranes and cabinets as well.
ICE was the first company in coin op to introduce an all-metal crane. The ICE PLUSH BUS, SPORTS BUS and LONDON BUS have dominated the crane market in 1998, offering a whole new concept and style to the crane operator. Nothing compares in durability or in earning to the ICE cranes. Just try one and you will never operate another crane, it is the most user friendly crane ever developed.
