Soccermania, a solar powered soccer machine from Kriss-Sport, was recently awarded in the category of recreational/amusement machines at the Surexpo trade show, held in Warsaw from 18th-20th October 2007.
Soccermania features solar panels and a rechargeable battery, and does not require any other type of power source to function. The model shown at Surexpo had a hard solar panel; however Kriss-Sport stated that this may be changed to a solar panel made out of elastic foil. The batteries used in Soccermania are used to load the accumulator, which is able to power the machine for anywhere from 12 to 48 hours.
Kriss-Sport also showcased a number of other products at Surexpo 2007, including a modified version of Tiny Fireman. The water shooter, which was shown at ATEI earlier this year, had an additional screen added to protect the player from the water splashes, as well the addition of sirens in a security cage.
