On July 15-17 in Nizhny Novgorod the annual International Summer Forum of Russian entertainment industry specialists in the Amusement and leisure industry will be held. Directors and top managers of parks, entertainment centers, cultural institutions, leisure complexes, representatives of cities’ and regions’ administrations, public organizations, manufacturers of entertainment equipment from more than 30 cities of Russia, the CIS and foreign countries will participate in the event.
RAAPA Summer Forums are conducted in order to develop amusement industry in regions of Russia.
Among the key objectives of the Forum are: attracting attention of authorities and investors to amusement industry in regions; sharing experiences of amusement industry specialists with the work of regional parks, entertainment centers and leisure facilities; increasing interest and attractiveness of Russian cities as places of recreation and tourism among population.
In past years RAAPA Summer Forum were held in Voronezh (2012), Yaroslavl (2013) and Kazan (2014). The total number of participants is over 350 specialists from more than 50 cities of Russia and abroad.
This year the venue of the Summer Forum is Nizhny Novgorod – an important cultural, economic, industrial and tourist center of Russia. The city is fifth largest in population, and has a high rate of amusement industry development. There are several amusement parks, entertainment centers and interesting leisure facilities in the city. In 2018 Nizhny Novgorod will become one of the venues of FIFA World Cup that would be the next step in the development of the megalopolis.
The unique format of the Summer Forum allows participants to combine the educational program and business communication: to see in action the work of the leading leisure institutions, meet with colleagues from other regions, ask questions to authoritative entertainment business experts.
Participants of the Summer Forum will visit the most interesting leisure facilities of Nizhny Novgorod. Directors of local parks and entertainment centers will share their experience of successful management and operation in terms of landscaping, theming, event organizing and developing their facilities. Russian and foreign manufacturers and suppliers of entertainment equipment will make presentations of their products and services, and represent new projects and formats of entertainment. Leading experts, who will also participate in the Summer Forum, will discuss the latest trends of amusement industry development in our country. Another interesting part is the sightseeing of Nizhny Novgorod that includes a tour to its industrial “heart” – the legendary GAZ Plant.
RAAPA Summer Forum in Nizhny Novgorod will certainly be one of the most interesting and memorable business events of amusement industry in 2015.
