Vektorlogic Limited is pleased to announce that it will be releasing a minimum of four new arcade video games in the period Q1/Q2 2004, with the games being ready for preview in January 2004.
At least two games will be released for the Neo Geo MVS platform and a further two games for Vektorlogic's own new video game system, entitled "Raptor."
The Neo Geo cartridge games are being produced entirely in-house, with upright and cocktail cabinet support included. These games have taken some time to develop due to the requirement of 100% original game code and drivers being produced. Everything that will be used is completely new, down to the printed circuit board layout and a whole new cartridge case design.
Vektorlogic's own Raptor system will also be ready for preview in January 2004, and although the final game board specification will be released in December 2003, the system will out-perform anything currently available in the coin-op video market.
All games are being produced in-house at this time, but talks are underway with other manufacturers and developers to produce games for the Raptor system, under license from Vektorlogic. Parties interested in carry out third party development work should contact Vektorlogic Limited directly.
