Alpine Racer 2, the sequel to Alpine Racer, is a downhill skiing simulation game where the player uses ski poles and a moveable platform to avoid obstacles and get to the checkpoints before the timer runs out.
There are two different modes of play, time trial mode and race mode. In race mode, you compete against the computer. You can also compete against another player if two machines are linked together. In time trial mode, you must get through the gates as quickly as possible.
