A side scrolling beat them up loosely based on the movie, featuring punching, kicking, power up items and insanely large combos.

Players select either Batman or Robin, with the game revolving around the dynamic duo fighting their way through masses of henchman. The object of the game is to get to the final stage, Riddler's lair, and to defeat the two villains of the movie - Two-Face and the Riddler.

Between stages players are treated to digitized voices from the actors and photos from the film.
