The seventh version of the popular Konami guitar playing video game series. Contains a selection of original Konami songs, as well as many popular licensed songs which have been added to appeal to casual players. The NONSTOP mode covers the official course linkable to the internet ranking system. The BONUS TRACK mode covers the systems of EXTRA/ENCORE stages.

The machine can be played by one or two players, and can also be linked with DrumMania 6th Mix.

Gameplay remains the same from previous titles, with the player using a simulated guitar controller to play the notes of a chosen songs guitar part as they are displayed on the screen.
