Gun Survivor 2: Biohazard Code Veronica is a survival horror gun shooting game co-developed by Capcom and Namco as part of the Biohazard/Resident Evil series. It features two player co-operative action, 5 stages, and a variety of weapons.
The story revolves around Steve Burnside and Claire Redfield being held captive on an isolated island, which is also home to Umbrella Corporations prison camp and military training facility. Once the two escape, they find that the island has been overun with zombies, and must fight them off and somehow find a way to flee the island.
In the gameplay, one player can take the role of Claire, while the second player can use Steve. Steve will appear as a CPU-controlled character from time to time when playing a single-player game. You start out with a limited amount of ammo and fight your way through several rooms, where you can gather up weapons, ammo and other items to get to the end of the stage. At the end of each level a boss character exists to add to your challenges.
Unlike most of the other games in the Biohazard series, Gun Survivor 2 : Biohazard Code Veronica is a first person shooter. The guns are fixed to the cabinet, and you use the gun to also move your character around.
