Pop'n Music 3 is the third game in Konami's "Pop'n Music" video game series. This version introduces a new difficulty setting as well as introducing various modifiers to add more challenging gameplay options.

New to Pop'n Music 3 are selectable modifiers like Hi-Speeds (Quick & Turbo), Hidden, Shuffle, and Sudden. These new modifiers are selected by press both yellow buttons simultaneously at the Song Into screen. The new difficulty setting - Hyper - is selected but hitting both yellow buttons on the song select screen as you select your song.

Gameplay is identical to other games in the series. The Pop'n Music controller features 9 buttons organised in two rows. After you select a song, the screen will show 9 colored "pop notes" descending towards the timing bar. You must watch the screen, and hit the corresponding colored buttons in time with the music and the notes on the screen.
