Pump it Up NXA (Also known as NX Absolute) includes 26 new songs added for this mix, as well as 17 remixes, 17 full versions, and four hidden songs.

New to this version is Brain Shower mode, which challenges players to solve both logical and intuitive problems on the screen as they dance in time with the arrows. Both single play and couple play are available. There are 3 types of game styles in this mode: Memorizing, Arithmetic and Observation games. Also returning to NXA is Easy Station mode, perfect for players new to the series. Easy Station contains a total of 60 songs and offers simpler steps and simple selecting options.

The returning World Max mode features twice as much content than the previous version NX2. World Max mode includes new missions, and new songs.

The machine has a number of features to keep the players interest and encourage repeat play. If you have access to a broadband
internet connection, the game can be hooked up to the net for real time worldwide player rankings. There are also new USB Thumb Drive Ports, with USB Player thumb drives available allowing players to save previous songs, accumulate miles to unlock content, and save high scores and screenshots.
