A skateboarding game where the player uses a replica skateboard to move, turn and most importantly pull off tricks. Gameplay provides plenty of opportunity to score points with rails, ramps and everyday objects readily available for players to make their move.

Players can choose 1 of 6 initial characters or a bonus "Surfer" character accessed via a cheat code. Top skater also features a pumping Punk rock soundtrack with multiple tracks from Pennywise.
