AAMA Gala showcases new products

The AAMA gala held earlier this month in Itasca, IL, played host to the coin-op industry's leading companies, with attendees able to preview several unreleased games which were introduced at the event.

"This year's event was a tremendous success, showcasing the best of the best in the coin-operated amusement world," said Mike Rudowicz, president of the American Amusement Machine Association. "Over 300 of the biggest names in amusement gaming were testing their skills, cheering each other on and discussing their latest offerings."

Some of the latest titles previewed at the event include:


  • Match Maker by LAI Games, a relationship compatibility and romance advice game.

  • Chase HQ2 from Namco America (developed by Taito)


  • Big Buck Hunter Pro Tournament edition by Betson Enterprises

  • Pyramid Power by Family Fun Companies, a progressive pyramid game

  • MyTouchTunes by TouchTunes

  • Virtua Fighter 5 from Sega

  • Soccer Fever, Dunk 'N Round and Beach Blast from OK Manufacturing
