Baton Rouge's Bowling Alley, Circle Bowl, which has been around for 62 years, will close its doors on April 1st. The bowling alley made their announcement via Facebook, claiming COVID "shutdowns, mandates and other restrictions" as the main reason for the closure.

In their Facebook post, they mentioned that Malco Theatres (the owner of the Circle Bowl) has also been hit hard by the pandemic. They go on to thank their current and former staff for their service, friendship and dedication; their league bowlers for their support, friendship and laughter; and their customers including school groups, organisations, fundraisers, tournaments and corporate events.
