Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that pre-orders are now available for their new Star Wars: Battle Pod upgrade kit.This eagerly awaited update lets players relive the excitement of the newest Star Wars movie's battle of Takodana, as they fly an X-wing alongside the Poe Dameron and other Resistance fighters to defeat the evil First Order.
The kit includes this brand-new level and cabinet graphics to highlight the content from the new movie, The Force Awakens. The Star Wars: Battle Pod Arcade Machine was released to coincide with the hype surrounding The Force Awakens and has built upon the excitement and success of the overall franchise.
The kit is only available for the original dome edition Star Wars: Battle Pod arcade machines and is in limited supply, so any operators looking to purchase the kit will need to make their order by July 15 with their local distributor.
There has been no announcement yet on when the upgrade for the flat screen edition arcade machines will be made available. More updates to come as they become available.
