Bay Tek Shutting Down Skee-Ball Facilities

Bay Tek Games has announced that they will soon begin shutting down the Pennsylvania-based Skee-Ball Inc. facilities they acquired earlier this year, and have already ceased production on some Skee-Ball games.

The company will begin to transition production and some Skee-Ball personnel to its offices in Wisconsin as the Pennsylvania facilities shut down.

Effective immediately, Skee-Ball’s Tower of Power, Crazy Curves, Strike it Rich, and Nothin’ But Net will no longer be produced. Currently, 14 Spin N Win games, 4-foot unit, will remain for the time being, but only while supplies last.

Skee-Ball games that will continue being produced, as Bay Tek titles, include Classic Skee-Ball; Spin N Win, 6-foot unit; Super Shot; Hot Shot; and Centennial Alley. Bay Tek has also rebranded its Fireball Fusion alley lanes to Skee-Ball and is shipping now.

Bay Tek will be taking on Skee-Ball's Jeff Hudson, who will join the sales team, and Mike Pantalone, who will become the Customer Service Manager over the Parts and Service department. Skee-Ball's Darnelle Simmons, whose transition was announced at the same time of the acquisition in February, has also joined the Bay Tek sales team.
