Brave Wave Productions will release Street Fighter II The Definitive Soundtrack soon on 4 vinyls and 3 CDs packages in the very near future. The soundtrack has been restored and remastered under the supervision, and with final approval from, original composer Yoko Shimomura.

The release will total almost three hours of music, with more than 100 tracks including character themes, ending themes, alternate ending themes, sound effects, and even secondary critical themes.

The vinyl box set houses four 180-gram vinyl discs containing a thorough 140-minute edition of the soundtrack, plus each disc is protected by a polyline inner bag and includes a coloured sleeve with archival Capcom prints. The set will include also a booklet with an interview with Yoko Shimomura, a foreword by Executive Producer of the Street Fighter series Yoshinori Ono, and an essay by video game journalist Matt Leone (Polygon, 1UP).

The CD version will include all tunes from Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers and Super Street Fighter II Turbo; they were recorded from the actual CPS-1 and CPS-2 arcade boards, then enhanced afterward.
