Brennan Takes New Role with Namco

Well-known industry personality John Brennan has joined Namco Europe. John – who has in excess of 30 years' industry experience with a range of organisations including Taito, Chugai-Boyeki, his own company JP Leisure and most recently with Electrocoin – has been appointed to the newly created post of product manager.

Working out of Namco's European headquarters in west London, he will provide a link between all facets of the company from games development, technical and machine testing right through to the operation of equipment on-site. Part of this process will involve an on-going dialogue with the R and D department based at Namco's head office in Tokyo. The role will also encompass the introduction of products into new markets and the development of alternative distribution channels.

John McKenzie, finance and commercial director at Namco Europe said: "This is a crucial role for the company and one which John, with his experience, is ideally suited to. Attention to detail is paramount and can transform a good product into a top-performing product. His contribution will certainly be felt by Namco Europe customers across all territories."

Reflecting on his appointment, John Brennan said: "We are now in a position to take Namco, as well as third party products and adapt them in order to optimise their earning potential for the environments in which they will be operating. I view this as a major opportunity to make a significant difference. Having started with Taito, my career has to some extent come full circle."
