Brent Sales, part of the Namco Bandai group, is predicting a bright international future for its Rollerball 11-videogame compendium, following response to its appearance at ATEI.

Designed for the Skill With Prize (SWP) sector, which is unique to the UK, Rollerball was a big hit with operators from throughout Europe, enquiring how the game could be adapted from its current monetary payout status to a fun-only format.

Product Manager John Brennan confirmed: "Whilst we have a lot of confidence in the product and high hopes for its performance, we've only really seen it as being a UK product. However there are some universal games in the compendium including bowling, darts, pool and air hockey – all of which translate across cultures.

"We're in the process of configuring Rollerball for international markets. Certainly it ticks all the right boxes as far as game content, styling and small footprint are concerned."
