Don Bluth & Gary Goldman Kickstarter Campaign To Fund Dragon's Lair Movie

In 1983, Don Bluth and Gary Goldman released Dragon's Lair, a choose-your-own adventure arcade game, and are have started a Kickstarter campaign to fund a movie version of the popular game.

Bluth and Goldman created the iconic arcade classic Dragon's Lair, which was revolutionary at the time for it's seemingly endless outcomes. The talented duo have also worked on numerous full-length animated films such as Anastasia, The Secret of Nimh, and All Dogs Go To Heaven; with Bluth also creating The Land Before Time and American Tale, while Goldman also made Titan A.E..

Putting their thousands of hours of experience in animation and Hollywood to good use, Bluth and Goldman are seeking $550,000 dollars through their Kickstarter campaign to get the movie produced.

The money would be used for a trailer and promotional material, which will be used to entice potential investors, and have estimated the full production cost for the movie would come in around $70 million. They will also be documenting the process, and will be sharing behind the scenes footage with backers.
