ENADA ROMA 2010: LONG LIVE COMMA 7 MACHINES
Not just business, but also networking and reflections among trade members on the future of the gaming and game sector, also bearing in mind the latest modifications to regulations regarding "Comma 7" machines.

ENADA Rome 2010, 38th International Amusement & Gaming Machine Show, which will be staged in the Italian capital's expo centre from October 6th to 8th – organized by Rimini Fiera - will also be this, i.e. debates and circulation of new ideas.

The decree on "Comma 7" machines recently underwent some modifications, which tend to simplify and reduce times and procedure for type-testing and approval of gaming and amusement machines.

In particular, reference is made to the maximum term of "30 days from consignment"" for the period necessary for the technical check of the machine and a simplification of type-testing procedure for all models that simulate the main sensorial manifestations of a real experience, of which the AAMS will announce the types every 1st of March.

Paolo Dalla Pria, Chairman of the group of the same name, as well as SAPAR Veneto chairman, states, "I am really happy with the news regarding Comma 7 machines, and only hope they manage to accomplish what is written in the decree. The times for type-testing the machines were too long – so much so that when they arrived on the market they were often already old compared with the new products in circulation, with video games that youngsters had already seen at home.

Now, on the other hand, it will be possible to keep products competitive, to the advantage of resellers and venue owners. Moreover, I am convinced that video games will have a comeback: if we bring new ideas, we shall do business."

In the meantime, the list of companies (over 200) that have confirmed their participation in ENADA Rome 2010 is getting longer. They will exhibit their latest products, showing that the trade's members continue to invest and update and believe ENADA to be a professional high level expo showcase.

On the stands, located in Halls 1, 2 and 4 of the Rome expo centre and occupying an overall area of 30,000 m2, visitors will be able to view and test: services for the entire trade, amusement machines and those with cash prizes, systems for online games and gaming, accessories, video games, pinball machines, juke-boxes, automatic dispensers, technology for amusement arcades and bingo halls, furnishings, fittings, décor, security systems and gadgets.
