The IAAPA presented the New Product Awards Tuesday, Nov 13 at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2007, with awards for best Game, best Kiddie Ride, and best Coin-Operated Arcade and Redemption Equipment just some of the awards up for grabs.

The Impact Award, which recognises the first place product determined to be the ultimate product for 2007, went to Comfyland Experience, from Comfy Entertainment Centres.

Other awards winners included:

Best New Major Theme/Amusement Park Ride/Attraction
The ZacSpin Coaster (IntaRide). A coaster which features freefall drops while the ride vehicles constantly spin and change directions.

Kiddie Ride/Attraction
Kang-A-Bounce (Zamperla, Inc). A Kiddie ride where riders sit side by side in a kangaroo's pouch as it hops in a circle.

Waterpark Ride/Attraction
Hydromagnetics (ProSlide Technology, Inc). Hydromagnetics uses magnets located on the ride boats and waterslide to pull riders up hills.

Family Entertainment Center Ride/Attraction
The Comfyland Experience (Comfy Entertainment Centers) Comfyland offers toddlers an educational play center designed specifically for them.

Technology Applied to Amusements
Krush Kushionz (Sans Gear NZ). An innovative air bag device allowing unrestrained aerial fun.

Games
Mini Electric Clay Machine Turn Table (Play with Real Clay) A mini-turntable allowing people to mold and shape clay.

Coin-Operated Arcade and Redemption Equipment
Deal or No Deal (Innovative Concepts in Entertainment Inc). A ticket redemption game based on the popular reality television show.

Merchandise
Statix (CoasterDynamix Inc). Realistic, fully functioning miniature roller coaster models.
