Kevin Williams Joins HG as Guest Writer

English born Kevin Williams, has spent most of his career in the electronic entertainment industry, first as a fascinated player of the fledgling video amusement, then as an amateur computer devotee. At present he is a leading member of the emerging Out-of-Home (OOH) entertainment industry.

To date Kevin has worked for one of Europe's largest amusement distributors (Electrocoin Automatics), for one of the most famous early independent consumer developers (Andromeda Software) and more recently as a Imagineer for Walt Disney, specifically tasked on their emergence into the Location Based-Entertainment (LBE) field. Following this Kevin would manage a project for Disney's arch nemesis GameWorks, under contract, developing their only successful signature attraction. The new millennium finds him in the middle of influential European amusement develop INSKOR Entertainment.

In fourteen years, in both the development and manufacture of amusement and consumer games, Kevin has amassed a wealth of information and contacts on the video amusement industry. In the last seven years specialising in his leisure time in video amusement, and its archivism. He now owns an exclusive database covering the majority of video arcade games released from 1971 to present day. This vast encyclopaedia created to support his spare-time pursuits of writing and presenting papers on the amusement and OOH market. Regular features penned in the trade journal Amusement Business Europe, as well as occasional pieces in RePlay, Play Metre and VR News.

Continuing his love of amusement, Kevin has extended his spare-time endeavours by supporting a number of the new web based amusement resources.
