Konami announce iPhone version of Silent Scope

Konami has announced that classic arcade shooter Silent Scope is getting a release on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Based on the popular arcade game originally released in 1999, players take on the role of the world's top sniper.Designed to take full advantage of the iPhone's touch screen capabilities, Silent Scope will feature tap-to-shoot game controls and different gameplay modes, including Arcade Mode and Training Mode. The Arcade Mode features three stages of gameplay: Story, Shooting Range and Time Attack. The Arcade Mode also has various difficulty levels and the ability to change setting including player select and branch select.

"Silent Scope allows players to perfect their sharpshooting skills wherever they go."
Silent Scope is the latest Konami arcade game to be released on the iPhone. Konami has recently released other iPhone games based on arcade franchises including Dance Dance Revolution S, a touchscreen version of the popular music game, as well as an updated version of Frogger. Silent Scope is coming soon and will be available for download from the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPod Touch.
