Konami Coming to Australia

Recent news from Europe is that Konami is looking to open a sales office in Australia with Graeme Nobles taking the reigns for domestic sales.

There has been much speculation on how Konami will handle the Australian market with many parallel products flowing from Asia and the USA. Distributors from Australia must currently buy their stock from Europe, however over the last few games there has been many problems with distribution and communications. Some distributors were even looking to take court action against Konami over Silent Scope II which was later averted by Konami offering free product.

It is unclear whether Konami plans to sell directly to customers or work closely with distributors. More news as it unfolds.
