Kunick France May be Shut Down

In a recent article in London's Evening Standard we hear that Kunick are thinking of some pretty radical decisions to stay on top of their profit targets.

After the resignation of Russell Smith, the new MD Colin Daniels has now decided to source a new head for their Leisure division. Profits were down GBP 2.9 Million to GBP8 million and the dividend has been pegged to GBP1.025.

The poor performance of their French division is seen as a big factor in their loss of profits and to quote the Standard they have said that they are looking to "terminate the lossmaking French games business".

Kunick France represent Sega and Midway among others and we would be surprised if they were just to shut down however some major reshuffle does seem imminent.
