La Caisse & Fonds de Solidarite FTQ $80 Million Triotech Investment

Triotech, a market leader in immersive entertainment technology, has recently received a minority investment of $80 million from Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ) and the Fonds de solidarite FTQ.

Triotech designs, manufactures, and markets rides that integrate various immersice technologies to deliver a multi-sensoryl experience to visitors. To date, Triotech products are installed in more than 50 countries across six continents and over 53 million people have experienced them.

These products include Typhoon, the popular XD Theatre and XD Dark Rides, the updated Interactive Dark Ride, and the new Illusio technology and Maestro hand gesture technology!

In 2015, the company revolutionized its industry by developing the Maestro technology, which relies on hand gestures. The rides that integrate this technology are currently being deployed in certain Legoland amusement parks and will be seen more extensively in the years to come.
