LAI Australia Restructure

This article comes from Highwaygames.com

Leisure and Allied have scaled down operations in Australia closing their sales and spare parts office in New South Wales with all sales now to be handled by John Oswin in Melbourne.

Chris Humphries and Peter from stores have been replaced with all sales and spare parts to be centralised in Melbourne. As is normal in our industry, the sackings were without notice with a hand shake last Friday.

There has been many rumours about the buoyancy of Leisure and Allied with closures of sales offices, Timezone arcade centres, and staff retrenchments. With Brisbane, Adelaide, and now New South Wales closing their sales offices, LAI has become a shell of its former glory.

Whilst they are a long way from closing down, it has shown just how far the market in Australia has deteriorated.
