More Dreamcast Convertors Seized
Sega Corporation, following its successes before the Rimini Court, continues its efforts to prosecute those producing, assembling, distributing or using the Dreamcast arcade converter known as 'GCD' and 'MGCD'.
These products do not comply with European regulations (D.lgs. 12 of November 1996) on electromagnetic compatibility. It has come to Sega's attention that the subjects involved in this business have recently been inspected by the competent authorities, who have seized these converters and imposed heavy fines.
Sega warns that it shall proceed to aggressively defend its intellectual property rights and protect the safety of consumers.
