No Jurassic Park III Kits

The rumours of Jurassic Park III kits being available were this week dispelled by Konami with an announcement that due to licensing agreements, all Jurassic Park III games will be sold in cabinets only.

Information received a few weeks ago suggested that Jurassic Park III would be available in kit form. With the market screaming for good gun conversion kits, it was disappointing to hear this week than Konami, under pressure from Universal Studios, was unable to release this game in kit form.

It has been suggested that Universal Studios needs to give approval for all cabinet design before the game is released into the various markets, something the kit sales cannot offer. However the thoughts of many operators who viewed this machine at the recent trade shows in Japan, Italy and USA all have agreed that this game would be well suited in kit form.
