PayRange Inc. is a maker of mobile payment solutions for amusement and vending machines, who has recently been awarded with two additional patents that cover inventive portions of their technology.

The first patent covers their "Offers" platform, a method for providing different offers on vending machines via the PayRange app and barcodes; while the second covers a method for retrofitting offline machines to allow them to accept electronic payments without being connected to a network.

"The ability to retrofit existing offline machines for electronic payment via mobile is crucial to updating an installed base of millions of machines throughout North America," said the firm.
