Project Coin R&D to Double by End of Year

Project Coin has outlined expansion plans which will see it double the size of its Research and Development resource by the end of 2005. The decision to increase investment in both staff and additional resources reflects the shift in the market towards screen-based gaming and the success enjoyed by Project games of that genre, including Joker Poker, Double Joker Poker, Golden Poker and Casino King.

Project managing director, Tony Boulton said, "Our screen-based games have made a significant impact with their ability to deliver enhanced cash box and to grow the player base, in some cases quite dramatically. The increased R&D investment will enable us to grow our market position in the screen genre and to ensure continued development of reel-based products which still remain an important part of the business."
