Sega are not to supply games for Playstation 2, X Box or Nintendo Game Cube

Contrary to a lot of recent speculation that Sega will now be widening its net to encompass other platforms and so make huge extra revenues, it has emerged that on clarification the 'other platforms" that Sega will supply from their next financial year are PCs, Wireless phones PDA Devices and Set-top boxes, not their competition.Their losses to March 31st 2001 have recently been predicted at US204 Million on revenues of US 2.9 Million.

If ever Sega do decide to ditch the console business and become a software developer for all formats, that would indeed signal a huge turn of fortune for the company, but as yet this is not on the cards.
