Sega Amusements Europe will reveal a host of new products at this year's London Preview, including both World and European exclusives. More than nine new products will be on show, including Sega Race TV, Shoot This Win This, and Primeval Hunt.
Sega Race TV looks set to headline the Sega stand. Sega Race TV is a twin driver with a distinctly American theme, and allows for up to four players to race together across five different courses. A note worthy feature of Sega Race TV's cabinet is the boost button located beneath the gear shift. In game, players collect boosts which fill the boost gauge, and when the boost button is pressed, the car accelerates at a tremendous speed. Sega Race TV also features eight unique character drivers, licensed cars and real time commentary.
Primeval Hunt is another of Sega's new products that will be making its European debut at Preview. Primeval Hunt is a two player prehistoric hunting gun game, with players testing their wits by tracking and hunting dinosaurs across vast landscapes. Primeval Hunt is on the Lindberg platform and will be available in both standard 29" monitor and deluxe 50" monitor versions.
Shoot This Win This is another hotly anticipated game that will be on show at the Sega booth, making its global debut at Preview 2008. Shoot This Win This is a single player skill based shooting game featuring 6 carnival style mini games which are played on a 26" TFT widescreen to win prizes. Alternatively, Shoot This Win This also offers an optional redemption facility. Another skill based prize game to be shown at the Sega stand is UFO Catcher, which is ready to be released after extensive on site testing. It features a 19" monitor and speaker system, and allows for a wide array of merchandise to be displayed.
Justin Burke, Sega's Marketing manager had this to say about this years preview, "Sega's line-up at the London preview will provide lots of variety for our clients, with strong products covering all areas of the market including, an exciting new driver in Race TV, the hard core gamers favourite Initial D4, new redemption pieces like Sonic Spinner, the fun family game Shoot This Win This and a further addition to the successful SEGA kids range – a licensed card vending Thomas the Tank Engine game."
Paul Williams concluded, "Our dedication to develop all round family product continues after the success of Let's go Jungle this summer. The venture for Sega Amusements Europe into the prize business is very exciting with big plans in the pipe line for the UFO catcher."
Amongst other pieces on display at the SEGA stand will be Virtua tennis 3, After Burner Super Deluxe, Virtua Fighter 5, Manic Panic Ghost, Ghost Squad Evolution and Extreme Hunting 2 Deluxe.
