Snow Abu Dhabi, The World's Largest Snow Park, to Open in 2020

Snow Abu Dhabi, covering 125,000sq.ft, will have several zones including distinctive attractions such as Blizzard's Bazaar, Snowflake Garden and Flurries' Mountain.Built on Reem Island, property developer Al Farwaniya, together with Majid Al Futtaim Ventures and Thinkwell, are behind the US$1.2bn plan. It will have 13 rides and attractions and will be themed around an enchanted world.
Blizzard's Bazaar will be the retail area at the entrance to the park, and visitors will then move on to the Snowflake Garden, an open snow play area that will host activities such as ice labyrinths, snowman building and other games.
Beyond that is the Crystal Carousel with animals that fit into a winter forest scene, all dominated by lighting effects. There will also be Flurries' Mountain, a centerpiece to the park and its Enchanted Tree that will spread out over the attractions below.
The Reem Mall, part of which will form the snow park, is now well into construction and will be completed early in 2020, with two million sq.ft of retail, 450 shops and a range of dining and entertainment options.
