Stern announces the release of the rumoured Ghostbuster’s Pinball Machine, which will be on show at Amusement Expo International 2016 in Las Vegas (March 16th-17th)!
Inspired by the original 1984 film starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Rick Moranis, Stern will release their usual Pro, Premium and Limited Edition versions.
The goal in the game is to use your pinball skills for catching mischievous ghosts through a playfield full of humorous, adventure-filled challenges.
As is the nature of pinball, the game is easy to play for players new to world of pinball and new to this particular game, but difficult to master as the cabinet includes a number of challenges and features.
Some of the the exciting features in the Ghostbusters pinball include a moving Slimer toy target; multi-function, two-way ramps that use a magnetic diverter and scoring switches; combative open field drop targets; a ball eject target; and a captive ball target!
Each model comes with a host of custom molded toys and beautiful hand drawn art by Jeremy Packe, making each version a stand-out machine and a must play.
The Premium and LE models also feature an interactive ghost hologram target with animations, "paranormal" magnetic action slingshots, distinctive ramp architecture and even more toys. Game action in all models conveys the humour of the film with custom speech by Ernie Hudson, the actor who played the fourth Ghostbuster, Winston Zeddemore.
"The Ghostbusters pinball machine celebrates the much-loved original movie produced by Columbia Pictures and gives fans a fun, entertaining, high-energy pinball experience," said Stern topper Gary Stern. "After all, it's the Ghostbusters!"
