TAB-Austria and Official UK Charts sign deal

TAB-Austria has become the first international company to join up in collaboration with the Official UK Charts. The Official UK Charts is responsible for the official music and video charts in England, with the contract finalised after a successful trial period with Max Fire Jukeboxes.

"TAB-Austria is the first international company we have ever signed such a contract with, and they have from here access to our official chart lists", explains Phil Matcham, Senior Licensing Manager for The Official UK Charts.

The contract with The Official UK Charts is another milestone for TAB-Austria. "The English music market is eager for up-to-date charts. Being able to access the official UK charts, gives us quite a competitive edge", stated Karin Scheidl. "Updates take place completely automatically over the online connection of every jukebox to our server. With an integrated UMTS modem there's connection within a few seconds, as installation and activation of the modem are at the front end of our operation", added Ms Scheidl.
