The Fated Retribution version of Tekken 7, featuring Akuma and Nina Williams as playable characters, has yet to receive a final release date for consoles, but players will soon be able to enjoy the arcade version of the update, which will be launched next week.
The new default costumes for several of the characters, which shows some of the graphical changes, are now showing on the Fated Retribution website following a suspected game leak out of South Korea. The characters and their costume changes are as follows:
- Paul Phoenix is now decked out in a new leather outfit, and has kept his iconic hairstyle and hairy beard.
- Hwoarang has undergone the biggest change with an eye-patch and black hair with a streak of red in the middle.
- Steve Fox’s is still rocking the boxing outfit, but he’s wearing his robe over his head and has new shorts and gloves.
- Devil Jin who is wearing a white leather body suit with white straps crossing over one another (yes, he is wearing a shirt) and the gloves are fairly similar to what they were before.
- Alisa Bosconovitch has a new, much pointier hair pieces, her wings are now gold and more detailed, and she is fully covered in a white body suit with a newly designed purple and pink dress, she looks way more high tech now.
To celebrate the updates and impending release (console release is yet to be announced), Bandai Namco have released a second trailer for Fated Retribution, which you can watch below:
