The Surfers Paradise Timezone, in Queensland, Australia, has made two major wins in 2014 with awards from the IAAPA Expo Brass Ring Awards and the Gold Coast Business Awards.

Following Timezone: Surfers Paradise's Top Family Entertainment Center (FEC) in the World award at November's International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo, the FEC went on to collect the Tourism, Hospitality, and Events award at the Gold Coast Business Awards last week.

The major chain family entertainment center collected the award after being rigorously assessed on the following the terms: operational efficiency, overall service, decor and ambiance, managerial performance, and adding social value to families and to its greater community. Needless to say the Australian business passed with flying colours!

Accepting the Gold Coast Business Award was Owner and Director of the Timezone: Surfers Paradise partnership, Juan Uribe. "I would like to pay tribute to our Timezone: Surfers Paradise team whose efforts are benchmarked by these awards, and thank all of our customers who are the reason behind these accolades, our success and the family fun center revolution," Uribe said.

Timezone: Surfers Paradise houses a variety of activities under one indoor roof including Laser Skirmish, bumper cars, miniature golf, a vintage shooting gallery, basketball games and a bowling alley among other attractions.
