Williams comes out top in Time Crisis for Tournament

Well-known industry correspondent Kevin Williams was crowned Namco Europe's Game Playing Journalist of 2006 after he registered an unbeatable score on the company's Time Crisis 4 combat video game.Williams – founder and director of the out-of-home leisure entertainment consultancy KWP Limited and author of the ‘no holds barred' Stinger Report – beat off the challenge of industry writers from throughout the world.
Reflecting on his achievement and the game, Kevin commented: "Time Crisis 4, which made its world debut at ATEI, was one of the hits of the exhibition. Time Crisis is a brand in its own right. It's immediately recognised by gamers with a strong and loyal following. There are so many play enhancing innovations which I'm certain will mark the game out to players."
The System Super 258-powered blaster is the latest sequel to the ground braking series that brought such features as the ‘cover' foot pedal and gun recoil, which have become firm favourites with players since the original release in 1995.
Kevin added: "It was a pleasure to take part in a competition alongside my fellow scribes. Namco's Time Crisis 4 is a tour de force which demonstrates that arcade gaming is very much alive and well."
