Canada's annual gaming industry trade show, the Canadian Gaming Summit & Exhibition, will be held March 10 - 12, 2003 in the cities of Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau (formerly the City of Hull), Quebec. The summit's exhibition floor, workshops, breakfasts, and luncheons will be held March 11, 12, 2003 at the Ottawa Congress Centre with the annual Canadian Gaming Industry Awards Dinner, and the March 11 reception which preceeds it, hosted by Loto-Quebec at nearby Casino du Lac-Leamy.
Following a recently completed $240 million expansion, Casino du Lac-leamy is today a state-of-the-art property and one of the most beautiful casino complexes in North America.
Last year's conference, held in Regina, Saskatchewan, welcomed in excess of 1,000 industry executives. They came from Canada's casinos, lotteries, bingos and horse racing tracks as well as from its regulatory agencies, suppliers, service providers, law enforcement agencies and municipalities. In addition to Canada, a total of nine countries were represented at the summit.
The Summit's Exhibition floor has grown along with the Canadian gaming industry and is now one of the largest gaming exhibition floors outside of the G2E in Las Vegas, Nevada. The G2E gaming exhibition is the largest in the world.
