In the sensitive report which was written by Adrian Carmichael Green, he critises the AMOAQ for their mismanagement of;
- * Losing $11,000 at the previous Hyatt Convention Trade Show.
- * Losing $14,000 with the "Collector Magazine"
- * Wasting $11,000 on GST legal issues.
The report goes on the say that the editor of the Collector Magazine is irresponsible and using his own influence to promote himself and friends.
However, a phone call today received by the AMOAQ Secretary, Shane Dove, suggests that that someone is trying to cause trouble within the industry and that the association does not know the writer who has misrepresented Shane by stating "Ken Dove" as the AMOAQ Secretary.
Shane sent us this press statement;
The document is totally misrepresentative in fact, accuracy and sponsorship. It is by no means endorses or funded by the Queensland Association or the companies, ( Collector advertisers) appearing in the document.
The AMOAQ to date, after extensive enquiries Australia wide, has been unable to establish the existence or credentials of the purported writer to query the source of the information and the intent of drafting a document without credibility , designed to create confusion and to serve seemingly malicious motives.
The AMOAQ completely divorces itself from this document, and would ask the author to come forward, in order to prove the total misjudgement and recklessness in producing and circulating a highly inaccurate and inflammatory document.
