Arcade Planet, Inc., today announced that it will use its patented technologies to build an online games Web site for Merit Industries, Inc. The game site at Meritgames.com will be launched in the Summer of 2001.

Arcade Planet will use its prize redemption game technologies to build for Merit Industries an online game channel that offers several of Merit's most popular games such as Run 21, Tri Towers, 11 Up, Photo Hunt, Snap Shot and Mystery Phrase at the Meritgames.com Web site. By playing Merit's popular games online, players can experience a taste of the excitement and rewards that Merit's games afford, priming them for touchscreen game play in taverns, bowling alleys and other entertainment venues, which are Merit's traditional milieu. Through the Arcade Planet-designed Meritgames.com site, players can accumulate prize credits and win prizes of their choice.
