Michelob Light Thursdays Tee-Off in Colorado and Iowa
Incredible Technologies and Anheuser-Busch announced today that Colorado and Iowa have been added to the roster of states for the Golden Tee Golf / Michelob Light Thurdays program. Previously, Iowa and Colorado were excluded from the Michelob Light Thursdays program because of regulatory concerns.
"We would like to thank Anheuser-Busch for working with IT on expanding Michelob Light Thursdays," said Bob Fay, vice president of government relations. "We hope to keep adding states to this important program for operators." Colorado and Iowa will start participating in the promotion with the ITS tournament starting November 5. This brings the total to 29 states participating in the promotion.
Golden Tee Fore! games in these participating states display Michelob Light messages on Thursdays inviting players to enter the tournament. In-game artwork includes a Michelob Light blimp soaring over the fairway and a Michelob Light beer tent. Players in these states compete for Michelob Light merchandise as well as the over $200,000 in prize money IT awards each month. It is proven in the states that are currently running Michelob Light tournaments that this promotion significantly increases game revenue on Thursdays.
Colorado and Iowa have been part of the monthly ITS Golden Tee tournaments, but the players there will now get to experience the added excitement of Michelob Light Thursdays. "It's great to be able to add Colorado and Iowa to the list of states participating in this exciting promotion," said Gary Colabuono, director of marketing for IT. "Now our operators and players in these states can benefit from the added value Anheuser-Busch brings to Golden Tee Golf."
