Konami showed a great gun game JURASSIC PARK 3 that will be available in January. They also have an 2nd Edition update for POLICE 911 and are releasing another in their sensory games, BLADE OF HONOR. A newcomer, triotech from Canada had an interesting driving cabinet. the game is called BALLISTICS and the player is actually reclining rather than sitting.

Another relative newcomer, VR Global, has made a significant addition to their VR series --TIGER WOODS GOLF. This licensed product also plays like no other golf game on the market -- not a substitute for Golden Tee, but surely a unique piece in its own right.

Tsunami has two updates avail for their motion & still platforms for Beach Head 2000; CRIMSON SKIES is a flying/shooter and MOTION RIDE offers 3-roller coaster rides. The platform can handle up to 3-player selectable games. Sega will have their deluxe 39-in version of ROUTE 66 avail during 1st Q 2002. This is an 18-Wheeler type game.

SNK is shipping in dec their KING OF FIGHTERS 2001 for the neo geo system. Namco showed several new games, but we're not sure when and if they will be avail in the u.s. and they are shipping TURRET TOWER, the 360-degree shooting game.

Sammy has a 33-in version of WING SHOOTING available. There's a new, compressor driven pellet shooting target game from Andamiro due out in feb/mar called REAL SHOOTING the player actually gets his target card. Ice showed an imported driver that will be available later this year -- WAR TRACKS -- we'll await judgement till we see the final version.

Finally, a plug for Lazertron's IBOX (games, internet, tournament kiosk). This game continues to receive a lot of attention for its potential to open up new locations and, to give something different to existing, transient stops. Suggest you take a closer look at this piece.

REDEMPTION

A very good show for redemption and merchandisers. Meltec has a good new skill game, TILT A WHEEL. ICE had a ton of new, excellent products. HAMMERHEAD is a low cost whacker. Lot's of cranes....ROUND UP uses a circular track and is avail in several different styles. several candy cranes -- SNACK ATTACK, CANDY TOWN and CANDY FACTORY. They also have a small footprint series of metal cranes (24-in wide) -- LIL RODEO and LIL PLUSH.

Two new 8-plyr pushers called PACMAN and TOUCHDOWN and, a single player pusher that has optional self-dispensing merchandisers - called QUARTERBACK, it looks terrific. Lastly, they showed a balloon dispensing machine, PUFF PUFF.

Coastal has a new version of THE DEALER and the HI STRIKER series. Lazertron unvieled their FLIPZ which is a combination coin flip/pusher with a ticket dispensor. They also have an updated platform on the VRS video redemption machines that holds up to 4-player selectable games per machine. Benchmark has the WHEEL DEAL and introduced a variation that works like a 1 plyr pusher -- GOLD ZONE.

Two of the hits of Iaapa and Amoa were photo machines -- DR FACE from Apple and SKETCH-IT by Ice. Sammy has a black lite update to spice up SPORTS ARENA'S and have dropped their price on KEY CATCHER.

KIDDIE RIDES

Lazertron and Lai have built a beautiful, reasonably priced 3-horse CAROUSEL. Worth a second and third look!!!!
