Photo Play gets an Upgrade

Funworld has updated it's Photo Play terminals with the implementation of the I.G.O. 1 power pack. Funworld is planning further improvements with the I.G.O. NG! which will be launched during the next big set of trade shows. The I.G.O. NG is based on the new operating system "NG" and will feature improves in it networked function "fun.net". The I.G.O. NG will be a totally free upgrade for I.G.O.1 clients.

The I.G.O. NG contains a number of new and upgrade functions. For starters the net collection terminal has a new operating system the "NG" which upgrades the monitor resolution by 50% and the colours to true-colour quality.

New games also play a big part in the upgrade, like The classic "Nine Men's Morris" and "Pandora's Box". The biggest game in the upgrade is "Revenge - The Moorhühner strike back", with the co-operation of the World Wilddife Fund. The player shoots harmless eggs at hunters to receive bonus points, but if any animal is hit points are reduced.

The upgrade has improvements in other key areas to such as a re-developement the player's assistant and mascot "Dotty" that helps especially newcomers find their way directly to the top games. An fortnightly update via the Intelligent Games Carousel provides a choice of the top 9 games of the respective PP terminal on the spot. Also once the basic expansion of memory capacity has been installed, I.G.O. NG and future updates can easily be uploaded via DVD box and CD-ROM. It's as easy as: "plug in DVD box, insert CD-Rom and go!".
