Sega Europe Appoints New Spanish Distributor
Sega Amusements Europe Ltd have appointed Machines Games Automatics s.a. – MGA of Barcelona, Spain as the exclusive distributor of Sega video amusement product in Spain with immediate effect.
Initial discussions took place during the ATEI show in London between representatives from both companies and were concluded during a meeting in Barcelona this week.
Sega Amusements Europe Ltd, Sales Director – Paul Williams commented; "We are very pleased to have concluded our negotiations with MGA. The Spanish market is the second biggest market that we have within Europe and accounts far a large portion of our sales turnover. It was therefor paramount to secure a distribution network through an experienced and respected organisation within the Spanish market. MGA was the natural choice for us. They are very experienced distributors and their NEW PARK Family Entertainment Centres make them the market leader in operations business in this territory. I am confident that their wealth of operational and distribution knowledge will help gain SEGA an even greater market penetration in Spain than previously attained."
