Namco America Inc. announces ATV TRACK, a 1-player Quad game of adventure, risk and competition. The adventure takes place in the mysterious Amazon. Players begin the race at a beach, where they must carefully negotiate their way through the deep sand, trees and sunbathers. Then the trail heads into the dense forest. Players must find the fastest and safest route up and down hills, waterfalls, whoops, over boulders and through villages and thick foliage. Once they hit the trail there's no turning back. They've got to tackle the obstacles in their path head on!
The ATV TRACK cabinet replicates the shell of a Quad. The motion-based seat simulates the movements of a Quad over various terrains. The motion of this unique simulator starts off easy and progressively gets stronger as the player makes it deeper into the rain forest. The motion of the seat is operator adjustable. It can be disabled or changed to a strong motion from start of the game play. The large seat is also equipped to carry a passenger. Foot pegs are provided for the comfort of the tandem rider. The nimble feel of the steering make catching air easy. The intuitive game play will have players easily carving sharp turns and kicking up a little rooster if they've got what it takes!
ATV TRACK can be linked with another unit for head-to-head competition. Adding the competitive factor makes for one intense game! Players choose from four groovy Quads and two riders. There are two playing modes: Practice and Competition. In the Practice Mode the player chooses from one of three circuits. The Competition Mode features a forward and return journey, both journeys includes two circuits with three stages each. ATV TRACK has a sporty appearance and a game play that just spells F-U-N.
ATV TRACK will be hitting the trail in May. ATV TRACK is rated Suitable For All Ages.
