Black Spiderman Pinball is a limited edition version of Stern's original Spiderman pinball machine. The only difference between the two versions is the artwork, with the playfield and gameplay remaining the same as the original. Black Spiderman Pinball features new original backglass and sidepanel art depicting Black Spiderman, and will have a limited run of 500.
This collectors piece features a mirrored backglass, something that has not been done in the pinball industry in about fifteen years, and also comes with chrome trim that includes side armor in the shape of a web.
Like the original, in Black Spiderman Pinball your goal is to defeat the villains from all three movies: Green Goblin from Spider-Man, Dr. Octopus from Spider-Man 2, and Sandman and Venom from Spider-Man 3.
Some of the features of the machine include Dr. Octopus' magnet that simulates a "Fusion Malfunction" by holding the ball; Green Goblin hovering on his glider above Pumpkin Bomb targets; Venom's ramp that quickly feeds the ball back to the left flipper, and Sandman's whirlwind of targets and a motor 3-bank at the center of the playfield.
