Cooking mama is an arcade adaptation of the popular Nintendo DS/Wii cooking game, where players must learn the cooking basics with Mama to create a number of culinary delights. The game utilises a 46" LCD touchscreen display, with players choosing from a list of recipes and cooking dishes according to a series of timed mini-games.
The game features various dishes from around the world, including sushi, tortillas, and minestrone soup. Players use the stylus as their cooking utensil and are able to tap, swipe, or scribble on the screen which makes their character perform actions such as slicing, chopping, peeling, and more. Players cooking skills are rated by Mama and tickets are awarded based on how well you perform and the final score.
