An updated version of Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix. Link Version includes 5 new songs, in addition to the full 2ndMix song list. The main feature of DDR 2nd Mix Link Version is that the cabinet is able to be connected to Konami's Beatmania II DX.

The Link Version refers to the DDR cabinet when standing alone. When the cabinet is connected to Beatmania II DX Club Version it is referred to as Dance Dance Revolution 2nd MIX with Beatmania II DX Club Version. When the cabinet is connected to Beatmania Club Version 2 it is referred to Dance Dance Revolution 2nd MIX with beatmania II DX substream Club Version 2.

This version also introduced the ability for players to save high scores and play custom step edits using their PlayStation memory cards. Link Version
